2014 S/S

Happy saturday;)

Although it is anomalistically freezing cold and snowing today here in the Tokyo area, spring is right around the corner♡

Most clothing stores have started to switch their winter items into spring versions.

So today, I would like to briefly write about the upcoming 2014 spring & summer trends in Japan.

I will talk about 4 things: color, style, print, and make up.

*color*

BLUE!!

of course, all pastel colors will be in trend especially during the spring time like every year; however, 

this year, there will surely be a lot more BLUE items than before.

navy, pastel blue, royal blue..... blue will be a spotlight color this year!

*style*

RELAXED & EFFORTLESS STYLE!!　（effortless chic）

There will be a lot more casual and laid back style this year.

Therefore, a lot more see through materials and loose silhouettes will be in stores!

*print*

BOTANICAL PRINT!!

botanical printed piece of clothing can be a great pop in the effortless look:)

*make up*

Same as the trend in "style" this year, effortless make up look will be very popular.

little make up around the eyes with light eyeshadow colors and thin eye liners,

but bright and bold colors in the lip will be especially trendy.

Of course, there a lot more trends this 2014 S/S, and these are only the ones I personally found outstanding.

 I strongly feel that simply wearing the trendy items is not interesting at all.

Mixing the trends into your own style and creating originality is the fun & interesting part about fashion♡
